Wow, what an interesting 10 days since we got here! I think its safe to say, with a huge sigh of relief, that we are all over the time change. It was rough there for a while, with all of us waking up randomly all hours of the night! It took a few days for our whole orientation group to get into town, as we were coming from all different places. One of the things I love about AIM; our group is made up of Americans, Canadians (even another hybrid like myself), Australians, Chinese, and Brasilians. After a few days of rest, we left the guest house in Nairobi and headed northwest 3 or 4 hours to the city of Nakuru. Here we stay for a full 3 weeks as we learn. And learn. And learn. ;-) We have a wide variety of speakers on all kinds of topics. Hover over the pictures for more details. (2 reasons there aren't very many: the internet is not conducive to massive amounts of uploading, and really, the most interesting cultural experiences are not conducive to toting around your "hey I'm a tourist" camera.) I'll do what I can to help you share in our experiences.
Thank you for sharing in the journeys of the Crisp family. We are ordinary people who know and love an extraordinary God, only because He first knew and loved us. Out of gratitude to Him, and a desire to see His name known, we follow where He leads.
