Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement as our family adjusts to our new life here in Kenya. We have been here 8 weeks now! And it is just about a year since Patrick came to Kenya to visit. How much has happened since then! We are quite busy, and have gotten into a good routine. There is so much to share, I haven't been sure how to do it in an organized and manageable way. I thought about a list of our top ten favourite things here, and started compiling pictures for that. Then Patrick mentioned that all I had on my list was food. (And fried food, at that.) So then I thought, an example of what we see and do each day. But I didn't feel comfortable taking that many pictures. I In the end, I simply have a random assortment of pictures, from different aspects of life.
I am frustrated at my inability to communicate well about this dynamic, chaotic, colorful city, and the interesting, varied people in it. You'll just have to come visit! Thank you, so much, for checking in with us. To cover the important stuff, Patrick is now working at the hangar, and is thrilled to finally be there, although not flying airplanes yet, at least working on airplanes, those big pieces of metal and other things that carry such special people and supplies to such remote parts of Africa. I keep begging him to take at least one picture for me, so I can share it with you. The kids and I stay busy with language study, going for walks in the area , and meeting people. I will update soon with ways you can be praying, and things for which you can rejoice with us!
Thank you for sharing in the journeys of the Crisp family. We are ordinary people who know and love an extraordinary God, only because He first knew and loved us. Out of gratitude to Him, and a desire to see His name known, we follow where He leads.
